The problem with that statement is that if you ever decide you disagree with a change to Steam's Terms of Service, they immediately bar access to "your" game library. Steam uses DRM, and yet insists their customers own purchased content forever. DRM stands for Digital Rights Management. It requires those platforms for it's P2P server matching functionality.Īlthough I appreciate the sentiment behind DRM and owning the games you buy forever, The only thing that ever truely benefits DRM is Pirated Materials.
